Test Drive: Renault Captur

After the success of Nissan Juke from Renault, the French wished to turn an urban crossover to become just as popular.  Thus, at the Geneva Motor Show, Renault has presented such a model which aims to attract customers through several elements of personalization, attractively designed and practibilitate.  Meet, this is the new Renault Capture!

Extremely compact, with dimensions comparable to the new Clio and a high ground clearance up to 20 inches, catching game takes all the best from a Cabinet, an SUV and a saloon.  The first urban crossover of Renault, will fight for about 500. 000 clients with sporty and passion for adventure, you will attract with his expressive style and practical functions, that urges the discovery world for two or with your family.
Crossoverul has a robust and well balanced silhouette, whose attractive design can be accentuated with the elements of personalization, offered in a wide range and better than those on the Clio model.  Thus, those who would opt for Capture will be able to choose from several combinations of colors for the body and roof, and lots of inserts of different shades on the inside.  Even the seat covers on the chairs will be able to have different shades and ornaments that will brighten up the atmosphere in the cockpit.

On the inside, the impression of space is confirmed by the freedom of movement.  I discovered a drawing board nearly identical to that of Clio, the only differences being the location of the ventilation openings near the screen color and the generous size of the drawer "Easy Life", set in the classic torpedoului.
By the way, this drawer offers one of the largest storage space, from those you've ever seen.  Capacity 11 litres.  Unfortunately, its opening without disturbing the passenger on the front seat is almost impossible.  Instead, the "Easy Life" is the first pouch that can be used to drive without it to be forced to get up from his seat.

Renault Capture platform is built on Clio's younger brother, but even so, the legroom is more than enough, here in the back.  What I liked, is shaped like the rear bench seat and backrest in particular, and that's because, long range it will prove uncomfortable.  One thing that I was wondering are "pockets" behind front seats.  Here you will not be able to store small things, because these strings, objects will tend always to escape from captivity.

The car is offered with front-wheel drive! We will not criticise this decision because those opting for an urban crossover really don't need a four-wheel drive system.  Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive option.  Of course, it can not miss on your large SUV's like the Land Cruiser or the Pajero, however when we talk about a model that will come out very rarely on the asphalt or even in urban areas, the answer is obvious.
If it is to remind the new Clio 4 model, then the visibility is very good at catching game compared with hatchbackul previously mentioned, and the only reproach in this respect will come back exterior mirrors, which I had them a few times.
Speaking about the range of available on Capture, thrusters on the Moldovan market is offered standard benzinarul turbo, just 0.. 9 liters, producing 90 horsepower.  Another is that gasoline Stern 1. 2-litre Turbo, which produces 120 horsepower, but it is only available with six-speed automatic transmission.
The test drive model today is powered by a turbo diesel 1. 5 litres, delivering 90 horsepower and a maximum torque of 220 Nm.  Equipped with this engine, crossoverul demonstrates a consumption of just 3. 6 liters per cent, but at the same time is able to attain a maximum speed of and 171 kilometers per hour.

To me it seemed strange that this turbo diesel was mated to a manual 5 reports and not the one with the 6 speed, as on the Trax.  But the folks at Renault considers that 6 speed transmission does not sense a motor up to 110 horsepower.
Ladies and gentlemen, it has been test drive with the new Renault Captur.  The Frenchman struck me with very good road outfit and a more appealing design compared to its rival Nissan Juke or Chevrolet Trax.  However, just like any other model and Renault has its weak points of the Captor and the most important is the lack of a box with six manuals, reports.
