Chief Designer of Tesla Motors has harshly criticized the new BMW i3: "the rechizitile looks much like the IKEA desk"

I think that the new BMW i3 "born electric" is a dangerous competitor for Tesla Motors as Chief Designer of the American company was quick to publicly blacken the image of the Bavarian compactei.

In an interview given to the magazine Autobild, Franz von Holzhausen said the new i3 is only a myth when it comes to the "Ultimate Driving Machine" as an electric model does not possess those qualities that have made German cars so popular.
Even though the exterior design of the modern American aged 45 years says that the inside is "a bit weird and unusual".

The comparison with the requisites of the desk from Ikea is not at all coincidental, as company representatives stated that they prefer to purchase a product accessible from IKEA than to spend large sums of money to develop one's own.

Tesla Motors currently working on two new models, the Model X, which is ever closer to launch but also a model of a compact size that will provide entry-level place in the manufacturer's range of electric vehicles.
