Skoda confirms that the range will have a large SUV!

Winfried Wahland, head of the mark Skoda, has confirmed the launch of a big SUV in 2016.  The model will be based on the longest version of the platform of Volkswagen and MQB will be classified under the Touareg.




Skoda is preparing the launch of a big SUV, the Brits from Autocar Announces quoting head of the mark of Mlada Boleslav.  The new SUV at Skoda will be based on MQB platform of Volkswagen and will have a brother named Volkswagen CrossBlue.  The latter will be released in 2015 and will be placed between the Tiguan and Touareg, while the SUV at Skoda will be the largest model of the Czechs.  Sources within the Czech brand announces a length of about 4. 6 feet, and the model will be available in both versions with five seats, and the versions with seven seats.  The model will allow configuration versions with front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions.


The SUV at Skoda will rival models such as the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe, say the folks at Tour citing sources within the Czech brand.  As Frank Welsch, explains Technical Director of Skoda, new SUV is "concept for Skoda, as it fits with our brand values.".  Motorizările will have a displacement of 2. 0 liters, while the base engine size will be a TDI of 1. 6 litres, says Technical Director of the.  The model is currently in the Studio working on the design of the mark in the Czech Republic, preparing engineers and the technical side at the same time.

Josef Kaban, Chief Designer of the mark Skoda, promises a more bold and challenging aspect for the future of the SUV of Czech constructor.  After the launch of this SUV, Skoda will launch another such model in its lineup that will have dimensions comparable to those of Yeti and adopts a "more traditional" SUV, explains the English from Autocar.
